After THE HAUS, the Berlin Art Bang association reached into their bag of tricks again and pulled out the Berlin Mural Fest 2018 (and 2019!). For the first proper mural festival of our mother city, we, as homies, took over the brand communication. We created the corporate design, including logo, fonts, and layout in simple black and white to give the colorful art the focus it deserves.

Of course, we built a suitable web presence for this street art festival. Design, implementation, content – we took care of everything and accompanied the festival step by step through its development. We created a lot of buzz on the social media channels with the line-up, stories, progress pics, and our claims #nackenstarregarantiert (‘stiff neck guarantee’) and #allewändevollzutun (‘all walls on deck’). For the second edition in 2019, our headlines even made it into the newspaper.

From City Banners to Neck Brews


With stickers, flyers, posters – which even the famous photographer Thomas Schlorke thought worthy of a snapshot – and more, we got people excited about the urban art festival and the new murals in advance. We designed a recognizable look for the festival map, cinema programs, car wraps, city banners, drink tickets, and everything else you need for a city-wide visual feast of street art in Berlin. The coolest thing was, of course, the delicious Nackenmolle (‘neck brew’), the Berliner Pilsner beer bottle in our design.
