Fresh Brand Breeze from Berlin

When the WallPen crew turned to us in search of a new agency, we were thrilled: the original manufacturer of the first respectable German wall printer and our graffiti agency – what a combination!

For starters, we dusted off the 80s-style logo and provided a consistent corporate design: one slogan, one spelling, and please, no more lame CMYK graphics. The fresh look was then also applied to the info brochure and the entire business stationery.

The WallPen Wall Printer Goes International

Up next: The website. We condensed a jumbled mess of print service, wall printer sales, support, and application examples into two distinct pages.

The first page is international and only responsible for the sales of the wall print machine. Here you can find all the information in English and German, clearly arranged and designed in a contemporary way. The visitor sees all the important sales propositions at a glance on the clear and well-structured start page.

The printer service page, where customers can book their own wall printing, is also bilingual. We also set up a WallPen artist pool to ensure that not only the process but also the motifs for mural printing are unique. This is how we connect young artists with this new technology.

We programmed the responsive pages in-house and, of course, optimized them for page speed and search engines.

Spotlight on the Wall Printer

Ready – Print – Action

To show the wall printer in all its glory, we needed moving images. It's the easiest way to show how a wall print machine actually works.

We produced the video at Knorke, for which we accompanied the wall art printer for a week during its use in Berlin. It shows application examples for printing on walls and closeups of the impressive results.

The Wall Printer and the Craft

Competition or Blessing?

When we announced the good news to our network, we encountered both enthusiasm and disapproval. The most widespread prejudice against the automatic wall printer is similar to that expressed against many technical innovations: Will mural printing replace the analog work of the artist?

In our opinion, the printer is not a competitor to the artist, but a new tool. It allows the designer to concentrate fully on concept and implementation while experimenting with the new techniques – this is especially true for all those who work digitally.

That's why we continue to grow a pool of artists for creative services in Germany! Here customers can book their individual design, the artist gets paid, and the printer does the work.

We see this as an absolute win.
